Sogetsu Portland hosted The Radiance of Autumn, an ikebana exhibit at the Portland Japanese Garden on October 26-27. The show was a microcosm of the glorious form and color saturating the packed garden that weekend. Wow!
Founded in the 1950s, the garden is considered one of the most beautiful and authentic Japanese gardens in the world outside of Japan.
Asymmetry, empty space and color are key components both in nature and ikebana.
